Hi, my bubs is 4months old so I'm starting to do some research about introducing solids and read yesterday an interesting suggestion that until a baby has full set of teeth they don't produce the right substance (ptyalin) in their saliva to break down starchy foods properly and therefore becomes indigestiable and fements causing digestion problems as well as mucous thickening causing ear, nose and throat issues.
Does any one have any more information or thoughts on this?
